An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia passed away a tra gic dea th as his body was full of bruises and his internal organs were missing when his remains arrived in the Philippines.
According to GMA News, the vic tim was identified as Lemuel Lansangan, a 39-year-old OFW from Saudi Arabia. His remains reached their home in Brgy Anolid, Mangaldan, Pangasinan last April 3 and his family was saddened upon seeing him.
December 8, 2018, when Lansangan was killed by unknown sus pects in Saudi Arabia. Police authorities in Saudi Arabia remain clueless as to the identity of Lansangan’s perpetrators.
The bruises which were found in his body is a clear indicator that he was tort ured before they took his life.
“Noong binuksan namin ‘yung kabaong niya, parang mummy siya. Nakakatakot itsura. Kasi tino rture (tort ure) pa siya eh,” says Louie Langsangan, the brother of the OFW.
The kin of Lansangan is appealing for help from President Rodrigo Duterte so they can obtain the justice that he deserves and to find the sus pect of his bru tal ki lling.

According to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), they were already informed regarding the passing of Lemuel. They are already taking appropriate actions together with the Department of Foreign Affairs to conduct a thorough investigation.
“Part investigation kasi talagang sa DFA at ‘yung counterpart ng DFA ng abroad,” says Mariano Mamaril, OWWA Representative in Central Pangasinan.
