After being caught of pe eping in a female toilet in Hong Kong, a Filipino bartender, aged 43 was caught by the local police.
The defendant was identified as Eduardo P pleaded guil ty over two char ges of “loit ering causing concern” in front of the Eastern Magistrates’ Courts situated at Sai Wan Ho. He is expected to be impris oned for three months in each charge.
“You have two charges that happened on different dates and are totally unrelated incid ents. So, the sentence for charge one and charge two to be served consecutively so your total sentence is six months,” says Eastern Presiding Magistrate Peter Law.
Last month, the Filipina who is married and also an HK resident was arres ted just last month after allegedly loit ering inside a female toilet at Manly Plaza, in Quarry Bay.
“You loit ered in the said place…and your presence there alone caused (the complainant) reasonably to be concerned for her safety or well-being,” the police compliant reported.
The reports said that Eduardo was seen leaving the female toilet at the basement of the Manly Plaza. A woman saw him around 4 in the afternoon of February 16.
“The (woman) got frightened and asked the defen dant what he was doing there but he did not answer and ran away,” says the prosecutor.
As for the CCTV footage, it can be seen that Eduardo stayed at the female toilet for 42 seconds. However, at 3:42 in the afternoon, the next day, another woman saw Eduardo inside the female toilet. This time, he was repo rted to the police, leading to his immediate arr est.
He stayed in the toilet for 37 seconds.
“Inaamin ko po,” Eduardo said when asked about the two char ges,” says Eduardo.
In 2015, Eduardo was also arres ted twice after teenage girls saw him pe eping in a female changing room.
