These e-gates are state-of-the-art machines that allow Filipino e-passport holders to process everything in 10-15 seconds.
However, there are also things that are not allowed at e-gates such as, wearing sunglasses, eyeglasses, hats, and facial masks. Also, people who are on a wheelchair, with children, couple and carrying electronic devices are highly not allowed.
Here are the e-Gate System Operating Procedures
Step 1: Scan Boarding Pass
Scan your arrival boarding pass. Make sure to do this properly.
Step 2: Scan e-Passport
Scan your Pilipinas E-Passport.
Step 3: Biometrics
Face the screen. Make sure to look on the camera.
Step 4: Scan the Right Index Finger
Place your right index finger on the scanner to scan.
Step 5: Arrival Sticker Receipt
Get your arrival sticker receipt after completing the entire procedure.
Step 6: Place the Receipt On Your Passport
Place the arrival sticker on the passport, on the blank space.
