A Filipina domestic helper is currently in a terrible situation after her employer locked her up inside a room without food for days.

Facebook user Ycel Manuel posted a video of a woman who’s covering herself with beddings. Together with the video is the conversation of Manuel and the OFW in the video.

Manuel identified the woman in the video as Emlisa Buenaventura. She is a domestic helper in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. But due to unknown reasons, she was locked by her employers and was taken to the province.

Emlisa was also denied with food or even water for a couple of days. According to Manuel, she is already vomiting blood and her health is declining really fast.

Her only hope is for someone to come and rescue her but she couldn’t reach anyone rather than Manuel. Emlisa already tried to call her agency which is Mj Manpower Agency, but it was weekend so their office is closed.

According to Emlisa, she couldn’t do it anymore because she hasn’t eaten for days and it seems like her agony will be prolonged because of their agency’s office is closed.

It is so sad to see Filipinos abroad, who only aims to provide a better for their family, suffer so much because of the bad treatment of their employers. This is not the first time and the number is fast growing every year.
