There are a lot of Filipinos working abroad being accused of things they have never committed, most prevalent of which is pagnanakaw. Knowing the extremities of theĀ parusa abroad, you will really think twice of committing a crime aside from the fact that you will lose the chance to return to the Philippines and see your loved ones.
But it seems like there are still OFWs being charged with different crimes and most of them were purely false accusations of their employers.
An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Lebanon who is just about to return to the Philippines was accused by her employers of stealing.
Facebook video of the OFW, identified only as Eva, is so heartbreaking considering the fact that she will be going home to the Philippines by next week when the accusation arose.
According to Eva, she was sent back by her employer to her agency due to some thief accusations. Eva is crying for help because according to her, she never did it as her contract with her employer is about to end and her return to the Philippines is already set.
Nonetheless, she said that the police will be arriving at her agency tomorrow to arrest her for the things she said she never committed.
Her other information such as full name, current location, and the name of agency was not mentioned.
