The world was shocked when news of “Tanim Bala” at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) broke off. Passengers, be it Filipinos or any other nationalities kept their keen eyes into protecting their luggage to avoid becoming a victim of these unruly activities.
Thanks to the attention that the Philippine government gave to the said issue, there are no more reported cases of “Tanim Bala” and the security at NAIA are tightened to avoid individuals from taking advantage of the passengers.
Facebook user Paolo Go reported another cool and futuristic advancement at NAIA Terminal 2. According to him, the carousel on that airport is equipped with a CCTV feed that shows how the luggage is loaded.
This newest advancement spells out fewer worries towards passengers in case they worrying if their luggage is being tampered or mishandled. Aside from that, passengers can now see ahead of time if their luggage is already transferred into the carousel and be ready to grab once it nears them.
This innovation is yet to be seen in the other terminals at NAIA but we can expect that it will be carried out soon.
