For Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) needing assistance with their OFW E-card, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will be willing to help you through their easy to reach assistance desks set up at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals 1 to 3.
This e-Card is very useful, especially for a fact that it can be used as a government ID, and aside from that, it will serve as a proof that you are an active member of OWWA, giving you an ease of access towards its welfare services, training programs, social benefits, and scholarships.
“Sa mga mahal naming OWWA E-card holders, ready po tayo to assist you here in NAIA 3,” says OWWA Representative Hans Leo Cacdac.
OWWA Officials earlier advised vacationing OFWs to get their OFW e-card.
For OFWs who want to avail their e-card, they can simply register to the OWWA website at https://owwa.gov.ph/.
Family members can also get the OFW e-card provided that they secure an authorization letter from their OFW relative and their passport copy.
To avail the services and programs of OWWA, you can simply present your OFW e-card to all OWWA Regional Welfare Office, Philippine Consulate and Embassies, and the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLO).
Take note that OFW e-Card is free of charge.
