Villa is declared the UAE’s Best Nanny for 2018 which was held last Friday. She came first among all the other 42 contingents. Villa will receive a reward worth 1 million pesos (Dh69,100) which will serve as a retirement fund to help achieve her dreams.
Just last year, another Filipina was nominated obtaining the same award last year.
The nomination is done by families and friends who fill out a form on Facebook and entering the picture of their nominated nanny. They also need to answer several questions and share the post on Facebook to gather likes which will be counted as votes.
The expert panels that will assess the candidates include Michelle LaRowe, Caroline Kanaan, Sarah Rasmi and Stella Reid. Rise, the award-giving organization, also have other categories like Longest Serving Nanny, Rising Nanny, and Best Employer.
