A Filipino family became a victim of racial discrimination after a woman spouted racist remarks on them while they are on holiday in New Zealand. The incident was captured in a video that instantly became viral online.

In the video, a woman can be heard shouting at the Filipino family.

“Don’t come back here. You’re not welcome here. This is only for white people. This country is for white people only,” says the woman.

Krizia Alexa Egipto, daughter of the family who experienced the rants, first posted the encounter. However, she already deleted the Facebook post.

In the story which was first heard from Krizia, their family went out for a coffee. As they were waiting for their order, they came across another Filipino that her father got a conversation with.

Right then, they were attacked by a woman who uttered racial discrimination towards them.

This isn’t the first time that a Filipino became a victim of racism abroad. In case you came across a similar situation, never stay silent. Don’t let these people discriminate you by keeping silent. Speak up because silence can be mistaken as agreement. It doesn’t mean that you will start an argument, give them a right and direct answer that will shut their mouths up.
